The Peter C. Alderman Foundation heals the emotional wounds of survivors of terrorism and mass violence by training indigenous health workers and establishing trauma treatment systems in post-conflict countries around the globe. To date, the Foundation has trained or held workshops for several thousand indigenous mental health workers from 22 countries on five continents. Peter Alderman was attending a conference at the World Trade Center when he was murdered by terrorists. Pete was 25 years old when he died.
